Cutumbo
Raw phone video in, finished reel out — without opening an editor.
What Cutumbo does
Cutumbo is a video editing app for people who record talking-head videos on their phone. You give it the raw recording; it returns a finished short vertical video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok. You never open an editor.
Who it is for
You recorded yourself talking to the camera. You stumbled, went silent for a few seconds, said a sentence twice, and the picture came out a bit dark or flat. Normally that means 30 to 60 minutes in CapCut. With Cutumbo you upload the video and it does the work itself, in a few minutes.
What you upload
- A vertical video, 9:16, recorded on your phone.
- Up to 5 minutes long.
- One person talking to the camera works best.
What Cutumbo does with it, on its own
- Silences — cuts out the long pauses.
- Slip-ups — removes stumbles, false starts and repeated takes, keeping the best one.
- Zooms — adds gentle camera push-ins so the video does not look static.
- Captions — types the captions from your speech and styles them.
- Picture — corrects light and colour, measured on your face.
- Sound — evens out the loudness to the level social platforms expect.
- Cover — makes a cover image with a headline taken from what you said.
- Texts — writes the title, description and hashtags.
Every step can be adjusted or switched off, but you do not have to touch anything.
What you do with the result
- Save it — the finished video, the cover and the texts go to your device. You can do this without changing a thing.
- Or publish it — Cutumbo sends the video to your YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts, now or at the time you choose.
Questions
How is Cutumbo different from CapCut?
CapCut is an editor: you cut the pauses, fix the slip-ups and place the captions yourself. Cutumbo does all of that on its own. You upload the raw video and get a finished one back without opening an editor.
Do I need editing skills?
No. Cutumbo is made for people who record themselves and do not want to learn editing.
What video can I upload?
A vertical 9:16 video recorded on your phone, up to 5 minutes long. A person talking to the camera works best.
Does Cutumbo add a watermark?
No.
Where can the finished reel go?
You can save the video, the cover and the texts to your device, or let Cutumbo publish the reel to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, right away or at the time you choose.
Can I change what Cutumbo did?
Yes. Every step — silences, slip-ups, zooms, captions, picture, sound, cover, texts — can be adjusted or switched off. You do not have to touch anything, though.
How much does it cost?
You can try Cutumbo for free. Prices will be announced soon.
How Cutumbo uses Google
- Sign in with Google — your name, email address and profile picture, used only to keep your account and your plan.
- YouTube (only if you connect it) — we upload the video you made in Cutumbo to your own channel, with the title, description and time you approved, after you press «Publish now» or «Schedule». We also read your channel's name, picture and subscriber count, so you can see which channel the video goes to, and the processing status of the video we uploaded. We do not read your other videos, comments or analytics, and we never edit or delete your existing videos.
Cutumbo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details: Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
What Cutumbo is not for
